LEAP Services to Host Mental Health Resource Fair to Promote Awareness and Community Connection

Owensboro, KY — May 16, 2026 — LEAP Services is proud to announce its upcoming Mental Health Resource Fair, taking place on Saturday, May 16th. This community-focused event is designed to create a meaningful and welcoming space where individuals can come together to break the stigma surrounding mental health and engage in open, supportive conversations.

The Mental Health Resource Fair will bring together local organizations, service providers, and community members with the shared goal of raising awareness and increasing access to vital mental health resources. As part of the event, attendees will also hear a special video message from the Governor’s Office addressing the mental health crisis in Kentucky. In addition, the City of Owensboro has officially proclaimed May 16th as Mental Health Awareness Day, and city officials will be present to speak on the importance of mental health and the power of collaboration in strengthening community resources.
