Meal in the Field: October 27th, 2026 – Jared Bender

🌾 For this week’s Meal in the Field, we spent some time with Jared Bender in Rockport, IN!

Jared works on a 5th/6th generation farm that grows corn and soybeans. While Jared is a first-generation farmer himself, he was hired right out of high school after showing a natural talent for the work. Since then, he’s continued to prove himself through the hard work and long hours he puts in every day.

People close to Jared praised him for always going above and beyond to make things easier for everyone around him. He’s put in the work to push through this harvest season, and it’s clear that his dedication makes a difference to the whole team. We think that kind of effort deserves a little recognition!

We were grateful for the chance to recognize Jared and thank him for all the hard work he puts into the farm!
