FEMA is approving over 19-million dollars for disaster relief in Kentucky. The money is going to cover costs associated with nearly two dozen recovery projects across the commonwealth. The bulk of the funding, 14-million dollars, is going to the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management for spending associated with severe storms and COVID-19 in 2025. Almost two-million is being sent to state transportation officials for debris removal and road repair.
