A tense situation unfolded in Utica, Kentucky, on Sunday evening as Daviess County deputies responded to a disturbance on Mill Street. Witnesses reported that a man produced a handgun during an argument and threatened several people, including a woman who managed to escape and provide crucial video evidence to authorities. The suspect, 24-year-old Austin Clay Henson of Owensboro, was later located at a nearby Walmart. After admitting involvement and confirming the firearm was real, deputies recovered a loaded 9mm Taurus handgun from his vehicle. Henson now faces multiple charges, including first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threatening. No injuries were reported.
