A Hawesville man faces serious charges following a Kentucky State Police investigation into child sexual abuse material. Thirty-four-year-old Carl Wayne Warner was arrested on March 24 after the Electronic Crime Branch uncovered evidence of child exploitation online. Authorities executed a search warrant, seizing digital equipment linked to the crimes. Warner is charged with ten counts each of distributing and possessing material showing minors under the age of 12 in sexual performances. Both charges are Class-C felonies, carrying sentences of five to ten years each. Warner is currently being held at the Breckenridge County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
