Kendrick Lamar had another sweeping year at the Grammy’s last night (February 1, 2026). Taking home five wins, Lamar becomes the most awarded rapper in Grammy history with 27 Grammy wins. He surpasses Jay-Z who previously held that title with 25 wins. Lamar also made history as the first male artist to win Record of the Year two years in a row, and the first rapper to win the Record of the Year award twice. This brings his total to 27 wins and 66 nominations. The nominations and wins are listed below.
