Fordsville, KY. (June 9th, 2017) – Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sherriff’s Office conducted a pre-approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint in Fordsville. KSP and OCSO came into contact with Chad Matthew Dennis, of Leitchfield. Through investigation, KSP and OCSO discovered that Dennis was in possession of and trafficking in methamphetamine and legend drugs. Dennis received additional related charges. Dennis was arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.
Fordsville, KY. (June 9th, 2017) – Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sherriff’s Office conducted a pre-approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint in Fordsville. During the checkpoint, KSP and OCSO came into contact with Michael Keith Felty JR., of Hawesville. Felty had an active warrant for his arrest. Through investigation, KSP discovered that Felty was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and legend drugs. Felty was also charged with trafficking in legend Drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Felty was arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.
HENDERSON, Ky. (June 9th, 2017) – Kentucky State police initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of 5th street and North Adams in the city limits of Henderson, KY. Kentucky State Police made contact with Thomas Murphy, 24 of Reed, KY. Murphy was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine) and failure to wear seatbelt. Murphy was transported and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center.
Reynolds Station, KY. (June 11, 2017) – Kentucky State Police was called to a complaint for terroristic threatening at 1247 Bypass road in Reynolds Station. The complaint was on a Chad Edge, 43 of Reynolds Station. The Trooper was notified that Chad Edge had multiple warrants on him. The Trooper was in the area and observed for a vehicle Chad Edge was described driving, and went to the residence of Chad Edge at 2040 Zion Church Road, Reynolds Station. Edge was observed operating his GMC pickup, the Trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle. Edge accelerated and did not stop. After a brief pursuit, Edge stopped the vehicle and was arrested without further incident. Edge was charged with the following: Fleeing and Evading, Wanton Endangerment, and Reckless Driving.
