Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits won’t arrive for Hoosiers for at least another week. That is according to the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. They say the benefits will be at least 50-percent lower than normal due to the federal government shutdown. The U.S. Department of Agriculture was ordered by a court to provide the benefits nationwide for November, and 274-thousand Indiana homes receive SNAP.
