Daviess County Farm Bureau has been recognized in two statewide Kentucky Farm Bureau programs, claiming regional honors in both the Health & Safety Awards and the County Activities of Excellence Program for 2025. Their Family & Farm Agriculture Day drew attention for combining agricultural education with practical safety initiatives, including tractor and grain-bin demonstrations, power-line safety, and hands-on CPR and Stop-the-Bleed training. A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Raising Hope mobile safety barn. Collaborative efforts with local agencies and FFA chapters resulted in an interactive showcase of modern and antique farm equipment, promoting community engagement and fostering agricultural literacy. ”
