The Whitesville woman who reported being assaulted at her business in August, and then came back to say the story was fabricated, found out her sentence after pleading guilty in Daviess District Court. 29-year-old Kylen Edge pleaded guilty to one count of Falsely Reporting an Incident to Law Enforcement. The case stemmed from an August investigation after Edge claimed she was assaulted by an unknown person at a business in Whitesville. Under a plea agreement, Edge will serve 14 days in jail starting September 30th, participate in counseling, and reappear in court December 17th to report on her progress. She remains on probation for two years and risks further jail time and restitution if she violates the agreement.
