(Owensboro, KY): Over 40 of the top CRUSA Street Stock Series drivers from across the country will make their way to Owensboro this weekend.
Windy Hollow Speedway is hosting the 1st Annual Bluegrass Street Stock War presented by Kelley Trucking, in association with Visit Owensboro.
The event will be highlighted by $5,000 to win on both Friday and Saturday for the CRUSA Street Stock Series at the famed D-shaped oval.
Street Stock drivers will have the chance to earn extra money with fast qualifiers, hard charger awards and lap bonus money on both nights.
The weekend will also mark the return of the American Sprint Car Tour for their third visit of the season.
On Friday, fans will also be treated to the bomber, rusty bolt, mini stock, economies and crown vic ovals.
On Saturday, the 602/604 Crate Late Models will join the bombers, rusty bolts, mini stocks and economies.
Windy Hollow Speedway will also be hosting a ‘Pit Party’ on Friday night with live music following the checkered flag.
“This is the biggest street stock race ever promoted by Windy Hollow Speedway,” said track promoter, Trevor Hutchins.
“We have had a great response from drivers across the country as well as our local drivers and fans. This will be a weekend you do not want to miss.”
Racing begins at 7pm each night. Tickets are available for pre-purchase on the Windy Hollow Speedway MyRacepass website and will also be available at the ticket gate on both Friday and Saturday.
