In Owensboro, a routine warrant service led to a significant drug bust on East Byers Avenue. Detectives from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office intended to arrest Colton J. Ford based on an indictment warrant but discovered much more upon their arrival. The team detected a strong marijuana odor emanating from Ford’s residence. Inside, authorities found Ford along with a woman and two young children in a home strewn with marijuana. The search further revealed over 50 pounds of packaged marijuana, various drug paraphernalia, a large sum of money, and about 400 THC vape cartridges, pointing to a large-scale trafficking operation. Ford now faces multiple drug-related charges and is currently held at the Daviess County Detention Center.
