During a routine traffic stop on Highway 231 in Hartford, Ohio County deputies made a significant drug bust with the aid of K9 officer, Egon. At around 1:25am Sunday, the canine unit alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics in a vehicle. A search resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and various prescription medications improperly stored. The vehicle’s driver, identified as James Bradshaw, was arrested and faces multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance and improper storage of prescription drugs. Bradshaw is currently held at the Ohio County Detention Center.
