One person is dead and two others injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday on U.S. 231. Daviess County Sheriff Brad Youngman told media partner 14News that a box truck was heading north on U.S. 231 and a pickup truck was heading east on Highway 60, when both vehicles collided. Officials say the driver of the pickup truck died and the two people inside the box truck were not injured. The highways was closed for a while during the investigation. Identities of the victims have not been released.
