(Owensboro, KY)- Windy Hollow Speedway and Windy Hollow Dragway will be under new management for the 2024 season as Trevor Hutchins and Misty Westerfield will take over the role of track promoter, effective immediately.
Hutchins and Westerfield will take over the role of Speedway promoter from Josh Vanover, who held the lease on the track for the 2022 and 2023 season. The dragstrip was previously promoted by property owner, Evelyn Miller.
“I am excited to announce that Trevor Hutchins and Misty Westerfield are the new promoters of Windy Hollow Dragway and Windy Hollow Speedway,” said Windy Hollow owner, Evelyn Miller. “For those of you who don’t know Trevor and Misty…. Misty and her husband, Jimmy, along with their family, operated the speedway for several years pre-pandemic. It was the work of Jimmy and many others that cleaned up the dragstrip and got it operational again. They partnered with Madewell to get the street racing here. I know Misty and Trevor have a lot of great things planned for the speedway and dragstrip.”
A 14-race schedule is planned for each facility, along with other non-racing related events.
“We are super pumped up about the 2024 race season. We also have some very cool events in the works that is going to be a big hit to see take place at Windy Hollow,” said Trevor Hutchins.
The 2024 racing schedules will be released in the coming weeks.
