Taylor Swift‘s upcoming Eras Tour concert film, which is set to hit theaters next week on October 13th, has now surpassed $100 million in advance ticket sales worldwide. It's poised to land one of the top 5 biggest openings of the year, on-par with Hollywood blockbusters like Barbie and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse — a feat that would be unheard of for a concert movie. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will screen in 8,500 cinemas across 100 countries, and AMC has promised at least four showtimes per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at all of its theater locations in the U.S. The company says that the record-breaking advance ticket sales have been strongest in premium formats like IMAX and Dolby Cinema.
