(Frankfort, KY) — Kentucky is one step closer to the arrival of legal sports betting. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission approved temporary licenses on Tuesday for seven horse tracks and eight mobile providers. Kentuckians can legally bet on sports starting from September 7th in-person, with mobile betting launching later in the month. Governor Andy Beshear’s office expects it to generate around 23-million dollars a year for Kentucky’s economy.
