It’s a no-vote on a proposed partnership between the Senior Community Center of Owensboro-Daviess County and the Owensboro Family YMCA. The community center board voted Monday to abandon the effort to create a new wing at the YMCA to house a separate senior facility. About five-million-dollars had been allocated for the project. There’s been no word about any alternative improvement plan for either facility going forward.
