Two people were killed Monday evening in a Hardin County accident. According to Kentucky State Police, at 6:07pm Eastern, Post 4 troopers responded to the 3600 block of Shepherdsville Road to investigate a fatal collision. 27-year-old Hardin County resident, Hunter Bailey, was traveling north on Shepherdsville Road in a 2005 Toyota Corolla, and for unknown reasons crossed the center line striking 54-year-old Hardin County resident, Lisa Pearman who was traveling in a 2004 Ford Ranger. Hunter Bailey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hardin Co. Coroner’s Office. Lisa Pearman was transported by air methods to the University of Louisville Hospital with life threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased. The affected portion of Shepherdsville Road was closed for several hours in order to allow KSP to investigate the collision.
