A crash into an apartment building in Owensboro has caused a gas leak and structural damage.
According to the Owensboro Fire Department, a car hit a parked car at the Eagle Place Apartments across from Kentucky Wesleyan College. The parked car was pushed into an exterior wall of the apartment building.
The driver of the car at-fault took off from the scene.
One tenant was forced from his residence as the vehicle hit a gas meter which prompted quick action from Atmos Energy. There were no injuries.
