A packed pit area and grandstands were in for a treat on Wednesday night as Rockport Raceway held their first event of the 2023 season. Tyler Nicely and his team kicked off the season with a double header of box stock go-carts and the Mad Dawg bike series, with a “juice box” race during intermission for the kids for a prize and trophy.
The event kicked off at 6:15 with open practices for all 3 divisions, before going into heat races. The event ran smooth and was completed with fans leaving the grandstands by 8:45pm.

Owensboro’s Cole Falloway took home the checkers and the $350 check in the Box Stock series after a hard fought battle with Nic Brooks.
