OPD reports fatal collision on Martin Luther King Jr Loop

On April 21, 2023, at approximately 1:29 A.M., the Owensboro Police Department responded to the 500 Block of Martin Luther King Jr Loop in reference to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. The Owensboro Fire Department and AMR responded to assist. The operator of the motorcycle, a 40-year-old male of Owensboro died from his injuries.

The Owensboro Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team responded to investigate the collision.
