I had the privilege to sit down with the owner, Courtney James, and better understand her why for Moonbow. In 2016 Courtney began her business online only and expanded into a storefront in August 2021. She was unsure if the community “was ready” for a place like Moonbow but was shown that her concern was unwarranted when Owensboro went above and beyond in support. Courtney’s passion for Moonbow comes from her own personal spiritual awakening. She found her why and self-love and light and now she is in the business to help others find theirs. “Questions are always welcomed. It’s a great way to start the dialogue of your journey,” says Courtney. She lives by the laws of attraction which are based on the principle that our thoughts, emotions, and actions can influence the events and circumstances that manifest in our lives. Talking one on one with Courtney I felt her passion and love for what she does. She has created more than a storefront. She has made a space where people can feel comfortable taking that next step in their journey in life.
Personally, it was refreshing to meet someone who was in it for more than the dollar sign.
