The Hoosier National Forest is looking for concession providers. Supervisor Michael Chaveas announced Wednesday the solicitation of proposals for concession campground and a recreation site special use permit (SUP) to provide high-quality service in the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities located on the Forest. The new SUP will replace the current concession permit which expires December 31st, and will last for 5 years. They are looking for providers for Hardin Ridge south of Bloomington, and the Indian-Celina Lakes and Tipsaw Lake Recreation Areas north of Tell City. The operator is responsible for all operations and maintenance of the permitted recreation facilities as specified in the prospectus. Potential applicants are encouraged to visit these sites to determine interest in this opportunity.
