(Steamboat Springs, CO) — A Kentucky man is dead after a skiing accident in Colorado. Sixty-five-year-old Thomas Rhodes fell into a tree well last week at Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Springs. A tree well is an area around tree trunks with loose, deep snow which can trap people who fall in. The cause of Rhodes’ death has not yet been revealed.
