Probation has been denied for a western Kentucky woman who pleaded guilty in connection with the death of her teenage daughter. 50-year-old Patricia Conyers of Oak Grove is accused of causing her daughter’s death by failing to provide appropriate medical care, specifically denying her medication. Conyers later entered an Alford Plea to second-degree manslaughter and was given a recommended five-year sentence. In court Wednesday, the judge denied probation and accepted the recommended sentence.
