UPDATE: According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the victim has been identified as 46-year old Joseph “Joey” Wesley Manire of Crofton, Kentucky.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office reports a 46-year old man has died following a traumatic injury. DCSO reports at approximately 4:56 p.m. on Monday, November 28th, a local tree trimming contractor was doing work on a property in the Stonegate neighborhood off of Highway 54. The employee became tangled and fell partially into a wood chipper. The 46-year old male employee was pronounced deceased by the Daviess County Coroner. No foul play is suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
