For those who enjoy playing video games at home, Owensboro Parks and Recreation is giving you a chance to pay competively beginning in January. They are offering a Winter GG Esports League, where gamers can connect to Esports fans throughout the tri-state. GG Leagues is a national esports competition platform created for those who love gaming. The platform was designed for amateur recreational players looking to have a good time and build a community in a safe atmosphere. Players will register through GG Leagues and represent Owensboro Parks and Recreation, competing against other players in their favorite games. Players use their personal gaming device of choice while playing in their own home.

* Madden 22 for Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5
* Rocket League (1v1, 3v3) for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch
* Fortnite (Solos, Duos) for PC, Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox
* Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch with Nintendo Switch Online Subscription
* Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch with Nintendo Switch Online Subscription
This is a 6 week league with 2 weeks of postseason play. League launches week of January 23 through the week of March 17. Registration is now open. Deadline to register is January 17.
Season Pass Price- $40 per person.
