Kentuckians convicted of simple marijuana possession can now apply for pardons from the governor. Governor Andy Beshear spoke at length about the issue during his weekly Team Kentucky update in Frankfort yesterday. Beshear says his administration is still looking for more information from President Biden about his recent announcement about federal pardons for marijuana possession. The governor added he is aware of how most Kentuckians want to legalize medical cannabis. Anyone looking for a pardon can apply on the Kentucky governor’s website but there is no guarantee of any being accepted.
