A shooting Monday morning in Livermore left one person injured. According to Kentucky State Police, 29-year-old Kory Tyler of Island was shot around 11:30am on Mulberry Street. He was taken by ambulance to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Deputies say the suspect, 33-year-old James Smith of Livermore, was grilling outside his home when Tyler stopped his vehicle in the street. Police say an argument began, which spilled into Smith’s home. That’s when Smith allegedly retrieved a .40 caliber pistol and shot Tyler in the head. Smith was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
