Hopkins County is the latest in Kentucky to issue a burn ban. Officials issued the ban at 8am Friday. Nearly a dozen counties have issued bans in the last two weeks. Along northwest Kentucky Union and McLean counties also have bans in place. Officials say it’s best to check with your local fire department about restrictions.
