The Owensboro Fire Department is looking for any family members of four deceased firefighters the department wants to honor. There will be a ceremony on October 5th in Frankfort to pay tribute to Kentucky’s fallen firefighters. The Owensboro Fire Department hopes someone will be able to represent Firefighter John Thornberry, Captain Church Guthrie, Firefighter Peter Cooper and Captain James Westerfield. Anyone with information about family members of these men is asked to call the Owensboro Police Department.
