Owensboro’s Toyotetsu plant is planning an expansion and new jobs are coming with it. Daviess County officials told media partner 14News about a $20 million project at the plant on Airpark Drive, an expansion that could create 20 to 50 jobs. The Daviess County Economic Development Advisory Board recently recommended the Daviess County Fiscal Court give Toyotetsu $50,000 to help with the expansion, an action that will be considered next month and that Judge Executive Al Mattingly says is likely to be voted in by commissioners.
