Kentucky-based Atlas Machine and Supply is building a new facility in Hardinsburg. The three-point-four-million-dollar investment is expected to create several new jobs. The facility will serve as the company’s headquarters for the Field Machining Division. The Machining Division performs on-site industrial repairs for manufacturers and provides compressed air and services. The facility will be located on 10 acres in the Breckinridge County Industrial Park and will replace a smaller Atlas location in nearby Harned where more than 20 local residents are currently based. The building project is on track to create 78 additional well-paying jobs over 15 years, bringing the eventual total number of employees working from the new facility to 100.
