Kentucky’s Agriculture Commissioner is rallying support for farmers in the state. On Tuesday, Dr. Ryan Quarles spoke at the annual meeting of the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts. There, he touted programs and initiatives he has sponsored to combat hunger while supporting local farmers. In yesterday’s address, Dr. Quarles cited record-high inflation, higher fuel costs, supply chain issues, and more affecting farmers in the state.
