A woman from Evansville is now being charged with a DUI after crashing into a business on Sunday night. EPD officers were sent to a crash at the corner of Franklin Street and 12th Avenue around 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into the Kite and Key Cafe. According to a witness, the driver was seen speeding on Franklin street, before making a U-turn and running into the business. No one was hurt in the incident. The driver who was behind the wheel was 49-year-old Gina Perry. Perry’s eyes were glossy, and she had slow and slurred speech. She admitted to having two margaritas earlier in the day. She was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
