Abortion is now banned in Kentucky. That’s following today’s U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade. Kentucky is one of more than a dozen states with so-called “trigger laws” that automatically outlaw abortion services if the constitutional right to the procedure is taken away. Abortion is now only legal in the Commonwealth if a woman’s life is in danger.
