Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies report a suicide attempt on the Natcher Bridge. According to reports, a subject was located on the Natcher Bridge who had allegedly been making suicidal statements.
With assistance from the Spencer County Indiana Law Enforcement, the Natcher Bridge was closed on the Indiana side while the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office closed the Kentucky side.
The Daviess County Fire Department also launched their boat into the river. A crisis negotiator was requested to the scene and attempted to negotiate with the subject who eventually jumped from the Natcher Bridge.
The subject was life flighted for medical care.
The subject’s condition is unknown at this time.
