Daviess County officials are warning residents of a new scam involving the fire department. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department says the scam involves a discount offer on a Daviess County Fire Department shirt. The offer is sent by text and includes a link. Authorities say delete the text without opening it. The fire department is not selling shirts.
