Cromwell Media is looking for a multi-media intern for the Spring & Summer of 2022. The internship program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with an opportunity to learn about broadcasting, marketing, digital, content creations, promotions, event management, and the different aspects of Cromwell Media’s daily operations.
Internship Positions Available: Internship opportunities are available in most departments, including Administration, Promotions, Programming, Broadcast, and Digital Marketing.
Eligibility: A candidate must be a graduate student or an undergraduate student in his/her junior or senior year;
or have graduated from college within 12 months of beginning the internship.
Responsibilities:
– Help broadcast on 8 radio stations
– Doing Local Radio Shows with Host
– Board Operations
– Transmitter Readings
– On Air Work
– Updating weather, liners & promos for sports teams
– Graphic Design
– Social Media posting
– Content Creation for owensbororadio.com
– News & Sports Updates – Equipment Set-Up & Checks
– Learn Equipment & Maintenance and MORE!
General Information:
This is an unpaid program. Interns are expected to work the designated amount of hours according to school requirements during the internship period. Internships are offered during the Summer, Fall, and Winter/Spring semesters. To receive academic credit, the internship should be approved by the potential intern’s college or university and all required paperwork should be completed prior to the start of the internship. All interns are subject to the applicable employee rules as set forth in the employee handbook. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a termination of the internship.
