A structure fire over the weekend in Daviess County on caused some damage. According to Masonville Fire Department social media, crews responded to assist the Utica Fire Department with a working structure fire on the 100 block of Highway 140 East in Utica at around 11:14am Saturday. A garage was heavily involved with multiple exposures, and a nearby residence close to the garage was partially involved as well. Masonville Engines 203 and 204 responded to the scene. Firefighters from Daviess County Fire Department, Utica and Masonville were able to quickly get the fire under control preventing any additional damage to the home nearby. Masonville Fire Department was on scene for approximately an hour. No injuries were reported, The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
