The showdown at the Indiana Capitol over the state’s coronavirus emergency order is over, for now. Governor Holcomb yesterday announced that he is extending the order for another month. It was due to end next week. The emergency order has been in place, and extended, since March of last year. Indiana lawmakers were planning to come back to the Capitol on Monday and overturn the order. They now say they will deal with the order and the state’s coronavirus vaccination rules in January.
