TYSON FURY SAYS THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS THE DRAKE CURSE: Fans have pointed out Tyson Fury's victory agains Deontay Wilder to retain the WBC Heavyweight championship has broken the Drake curse. Prior to the fight, Tyson got a few words of encouragement from Drake — which worried Fury fans since the rapper seemingly curses all of the teams that he cheers on. Yesterday (October 10th), Fury wrote on his IG Story, “Curse? No such thing pal.”
DONDA ACADEMY IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS: Kanye West's California private prep school Donda Academy, is now accepting applications. CBS 2 Los Angeles has reported that the school will be located in between Simi Valley and Moorpark. Donda Academy's website writes that the school's mission is to “prepare students to become the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators,” by providing kids with “a world-class education that includes a rigorous core curriculum, and an emphasis on sustainability, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.”
DABABY RECEIVES PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM MARRIED WOMAN FOR FABRICATED DMS: DaBaby has received an apology from social media influencer and Tik Tok star Brianna Hampton better known as Mrs. LaTruth. Last week, Mrs. LaTruth posted screenshotd of her exchange with Instagram user @HeyDoctorShameka, alleging that DaBaby was trying to make his move not long after working with her husband. DaBaby later denied it was him. After finding out the truth, Mrs. LaTruth apologized to DaBaby, saying, “Apology to DaBaby and his family. Thanks fans for doing your investigation and getting the truth from this girl who started it all! Ppl have way too much time on their hands!”
BIRDMAN GOES OFF ON IRV GOTTI FOR SPEAKING ON LIL WAYNE'S CASH MONEY CONTRACT: Birdman went off on Irv Gotti for speaking out on Birdman's issues with Lil Wayne and Wayne's contract with Cash Money years back. During an interview with Complex back in 2017, Gotti spoke on Birdman's business dealings with Universal and Lil Wayne including the 90/10 split with UMG from distribution. Gotti said, “I heard Universal, every few years, cuts them n***as $100 million.” He added, “Lil Wayne deserves it.' It's not like the n***a said, 'Hey, I'm your son. Give me money.' This n***a deserve it, yo.” Birdman posted the clip of the interview on Instagram, along with the caption, “I'm jus seen this. Blood drop emoji mind ur F*kin business I been a get money n***a RG.”
