Senator Mitch McConnell is hitting Democrats over spending. Speaking on the Senate floor yesterday, Senator McConnell accused Democrats of pushing a “taxing and spending spree” that will hurt American families and help China. Meanwhile, McConnell again criticized the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. He called it a “botched” operation and said the terrorist threat in the Asian nation is again growing.
