Friday After 5 Events – June 25, 2021! Week 6!
WHO: Week #6 is bringing a party to the riverfront with fan favorite, ‘Juice Box Heroes’, pre-union celebrations, the Kroger Street Fair with Food Trucks, vendors and more! The schedule is packed with crazy talent on every stage! Starting at 5PM on the ATMOS Courtyard stage, enjoy some fiddling with ‘Kentucky Shine’ and at 6:30, on the Jagoe Homes Patio stage the amazing voice of Lauren Davidson, a rising country star will open for ‘Royal South’. From 6-9:30, the Holiday Inn Riverfront Live stage is proud to present ‘Rack em Leon’ everything from Blues to Beatles for their musical line up and on the Romain Subaru Overlook stage, ‘Halls of Rough’ will keep you entertained from 7-9pm. The big sing along and dance, dance, dance all night long party starts at 8:00 at the Ruoff Party stage at the Kentucky Legend Pier with a huge favorite of Owensboro, ‘Juice Box Heroes’.
WHAT: As Friday After 5 continues to celebrate it’s 25th Anniversary season, the Kroger Street Fair will continue to offer some of the best food trucks in the region and stages will bring a variety of entertainment to the Owensboro Downtown Riverfront. Don’t forget that we will rock you at the Bluegrass Museum Backyard Movies thanks to Academy Sports this week, with the Queen in Montreal Live AID Concert, along with our weekly Corn Hole Tournament.
WHERE: Week 6 of the Friday After 5 Mile of Music 25th Anniversary Celebration continues along the beautiful Ohio Riverfront, along Veterans Blvd, from Daviess down to the Holiday Inn. With 2nd St closed for the evening, in addition to parking along the streets, you can still access the Parking Structure on Daviess Street with a nominal $5 parking fee and the beautiful new Parking Structure on Locust Street with the first 2 hours free and a nominal fee of up to $6 to easily park in one of the 400 structure parking spaces.
