After only 4 players making their way into the scoring column, the Cats doubled that mark with 8 players scoring in Tuesday’s much needed win at Florida 88-79. Jamal Murray finished strong after a 1-7 start and once again lead the way in scoring for UK as he finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tyler Ulis once continues to make his case for National Player of the Year as he finished the game right at his season averages with 19 points, 11 assists, and 4 rebounds. Senior Alex Poythress bounced back from a zero point effort with a strong double double as he finished with 12 points and 10 boards. UK has but just one game remaining on the regular season schedule and as UK will take on freshman phenom Ben Simmons and his LSU Tigers for at Rupp Arena on Saturday. Kentucky will need a win and a Texas A&M loss to clinch yet another SEC regular season title.
