On Friday, June 11th, 2021 at approximately 12:57 am, the Owensboro Police Department responded to the 1800 block of East 17th Street for a reported firearm discharge. Officers located a 28-year-old male with two gunshot
wounds. The victim was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and his injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Detectives responded and are currently investigating.
