Mel Ford from the keyboard…
I feel like I’m causing a kerfuffle with this, but here goes. CandyStore.com says Kentucky’s favorite jelly bean flavor is cinnamon. It replaced the previous favorite black licorice, which finished second with strawberry coming in third. There is no way that red jelly beans aren’t number one this year. I demand a recount and will not stand for this. Peeps? Sure. Throw them in the garbage. There is no way that cinnamon jelly beans and licorice jelly beans rank higher than the red ones. And why do we call the purple jelly beans “grape?” It tastes nothing like grapes. Grape flavor needs a new name entirely. If you think that I have not taken these issues to Representative Brett Guthrie you are mistaken. Easter is set for Sunday, April 4th and National Jelly Bean Day is Thursday, April 22nd. There is not a stand alone day for Cinnamon Jelly Beans or Black Licorice Jelly Bean Day as it SHOULD BE.
