Scotty McCreery premiered the official video for his current Top 40 and rising single “You Time” on CMT over the weekend. The clip depicts a busy newlywed couple separated by a musician’s life on the road while his new bride continues her education. The scenario is a familiar one for Scotty and the inspiration behind “You Time.”
He said, “When I wrote this song, I was on the road more than I’d ever been. I’d get home just in time to see (wife) Gabi heading off to work so I was really craving ‘You Time’ with her. We wanted to capture that experience in the video plus we’ve got a really fun cameo so be sure you watch till the end!”
Scotty has been hard at work on the follow-up to Seasons Change change album, with “You Time” as the lead single. “You Time” follows Scotty’s three back-to-back No. 1’s from Seasons Change: “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It” and “In Between.”
