BOBBY SHMURDA IS COMING HOME TODAY: Bobby Shmurda is being released from prison today (February 23rd) after being incarcerated for six years on conspiracy to murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment charges. The rapper released a statement yesterday saying, “Thank you for remaining loyal and for riding this six year sentence out with me. I love you all and look forward to seeing you soon. Sincerely, Bod boy Bobby ah ahh ahhh.” Upon his release, Shmurda’s mother, Leslie Pollard, revealed that her son plans to celebrate with family at an intimate dinner before hitting the studio to work on new music.Back in September, Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, was denied parole due to multiple prison violations. However, the Time Allowance Committee later decided to grant him the Feb. 23 conditional release for good behavior. He will be on parole until 2026.
QUAVO WILL PICK UP BOBBY SHMURDA FROM PRISON: Meanwhile, it was reported that Quavo is going to pick Shmurda up. According to Rapup, the Migos rapper said, “I’m going to get my guy. I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir.”

VANESSA BRYANT RESPONDS TO MEEK MILL'S KOBE BRYANT LINE: Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to react to Meek Mill's Kobe Bryant line, which was on an unreleased song featuring Lil Baby. DR. DRE RAPS ABOUT HIS DIVORCE: In a snippet of a forthcoming collaboration with KXNG Crooked, Dr. Dre rapped about his divorce from Nicole Young. He raps, “Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury. KILLER MIKE'S BARBERSHOP DAMAGED IN SHOOTOUT: Killer Mike's Atlanta barbershop was damaged after its windows were shot out over the weekend. According to AceShowbiz, the rapper was forced to delay the planned reopening of the SWAG Shop. Mike said via Instagram, “It was not a personal attack but it was black men who cud not shoot for s**t shooting at one another. am not upset as property can be replaced.
